Greetings DSST Staff,

Before we head into Thanksgiving break, we want to take time to express gratitude for the collective learning that has taken place during our Wednesday PD days this semester. Across the network, we have engaged in learning as content teams, leadership teams, and within our new teacher cohort. 

Based on our learning from Nov. 13, we identified the following bright spots in your feedback:

• Appreciation for high-quality resources.
• Adequate time was provided to implement resources and/or strategies.
• There was intentional collaboration time for discussion, best practice sharing & feedback.
• Our teacher leaders continue to shine as facilitators and in examples of best practices.

We also identified a trend in opportunities as we plan for our semester 2 training and development, which is to continue to provide more differentiation in the development of skills that are more aligned with their current experience and needs.
